Born on February 14, 1992, in Mampando, within the semi arid Singida Region of Tanzania, Alphonce Felix Simbu has evolved from a regional track specialist into a global marathon icon. Representing his nation with unmatched dedication, he also serves with honor as a Staff Sergeant in the Tanzania People’s Defence Forces (TPDF). Today, he stands as the reigning World Champion and the fastest Tanzanian marathoner in history.

Alphonce simbu FOUNDATION
Alphonce Simbu Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing young athletic talent and fostering a lifelong love of sports. Our mission is to provide underprivileged youth with access to quality sports programs, coaching, and resources, empowering them to reach their full potential both on and off the field.
Objectives
- Provide school supplies (stationery, uniforms, shoes) and scholarships to underprivileged students.
- Identify and nurture promising young athletes by offering access to quality athletics coaching and training facilities for national and international competitions.
- Secure media coverage in local and national publications to increase visibility and attract attention from potential sponsors.
- Build relationships with sports agents, managers, and other professionals in the sports industry to secure employment opportunities locally and internationally.
